The Metropolitan School District of Martinsville school board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the school administration building, 460 S. Main St. Agenda items include the retirement of Darrell Potter, director of technology and safety and a construction update on 2011 summer projects. A special meeting for the proposed 2012 school budgets will be held at noon Sept. 1.
